Shirt Grading System

At King of Football Shirts, many items we sell are vintage or pre-owned. Because of this, shirts may show signs of age or previous wear. To ensure transparency, every shirt is carefully inspected and given a condition grade before being listed.

This grading system helps customers understand the overall condition of each item before purchasing.

Please note that because many shirts are vintage, some natural signs of age may still be present even on higher-grade items.

Mint

Mint condition shirts have been worn only a couple of times and show virtually no visible signs of wear.

  • No visible marks or stains

  • No pulls or bobbling

  • Colours and logos remain vibrant

  • Overall excellent condition

These shirts are typically the closest condition to new that can be expected from a vintage item.

Very Good

Very Good condition shirts have been worn a few times and show only light signs of wear.

Examples may include:

  • Light bobbling

  • Minor pulls in the fabric

  • Very small or faint marks

These shirts remain in strong overall condition and are still highly presentable.

Good

Good condition shirts have been worn a fair number of times and show noticeable signs of wear.

Examples may include:

  • More significant bobbling

  • Multiple fabric pulls

  • Larger or more visible marks

While these shirts show clear signs of previous use, they are still wearable and collectible vintage items.

Fair

Fair condition shirts have been worn many times and show clear and visible wear or damage.

Examples may include:

  • Holes in the fabric

  • Noticeable stains

  • Heavy pulls or fabric wear

These shirts are typically best suited for collectors, casual wear, or those comfortable with more visible signs of age.

Important Information

All shirts are individually photographed and described, and any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and images.

Because most items sold by King of Football Shirts are one-off vintage pieces, condition may vary depending on the age and previous use of the garment.
